Lost
A story about a grandmother with Alzheimer’s looking for her “missing” granddaughter, only for the audience to find out later that only her memories were missing. The repeated news program, huge font on the screen, misclicked application and dialogues in Shanghai dialect represent the slow yet adapting new technologies lifestyle of the grandmother; whereas the rapid ticking of clocks, facetime, presentations and online shopping websites indicate the fast-paced life of the younger generation. The contrast between those two distinctly different lifestyles through the interface film was everywhere in our daily life but felt unfamiliar or ignored.
