Black Sheep is a short film dedicated to people recovered from Covid-19. As I went back to Shanghai, I have seen news about patients recovered from the virus being harrassed both virtually and in-person. Like the title of the film, those people were “black sheep” to the public. It was heartbreaking to see those people trying to live their normal lives before the pandemic but couldn’t do so due to constant discrimination from people around them. The short film was based on real-life stories. I hope it could appeal to the public to raise awareness of the mental health of post-pandemic patients.
